§ 603-63. Serving Cooked or Prepared Horsemeat; Sign Required.

  • The owner or manager of any restaurant or other food-handling establishment serving cooked or prepared horsemeat for consumption on the premises shall cause at least one sign to be prominently displayed in each room where such foods are served, containing the words in letters not less than four inches high: "HORSEMEAT SERVED HERE." If menu cards are used, any food containing horsemeat shall be so designated on the menu.
