§ 845-71. Closing of Streets During Hours Needed for Operation of Findlay Market.

  • The market manager shall be authorized to close Elder Street, Sellew Alley, and Glass Alley, between Race and Elm Streets, Clymer Alley, between Glass Alley and Green Street and between Sellew Alley and Findlay Street, Fenwick Alley, between Sellew Alley and Findlay Street, and Pleasant Street, between Findlay and Green Streets to the traffic of all vehicles except emergency and public safety vehicles during the hours needed for operation of Findlay Market as determined in accordance with the provisions of Section 845-7 of this chapter. The market manager shall, in his or her discretion, provide daily access to the above referenced streets and alleys for service, loading and unloading, at such times and for such periods as are convenient and useful.

    Emergency and public safety vehicles shall be as defined in Chapter 501 of the Cincinnati Municipal Code. The market manager shall cause to be erected such signs and barriers as are necessary to enforce the provisions of this section.
