§ 723-5. Encumbering Sidewalks.

  • Except as otherwise provided in this chapter, no person shall encumber any street or sidewalk space or other area of the right-of-way with goods, wares, merchandise, structures or other materials.

    This section shall not apply to the temporary use of streets and sidewalks for lawful construction purposes or in accordance with the rules of the division of sanitation.
