§ 721-61. Warning Lights; Barriers.

  • (a)

    Every person who shall dig, or cause to be dug, in or adjoining any street any excavation whatsoever, and every person who shall occupy or cause to be occupied any portion of any street with building material or any obstruction shall comply with the applicable lighting and barricade provisionsof the most recent edition of the Ohio Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices for Streets and Highways.

    (b)

    When the director of public works determines that it is necessary for public safety, he may require barricades or traffic control devices in addition to those required by the most recent edition of the Ohio Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices in any excavation or obstruction of a public street in the City of Cincinnati.
