§ 721-163. Construction, Reconstruction or Repairing to be Done at Expense of Property Owner.

If a sidewalk, curb or gutter is not constructed, or if a defective sidewalk, sidewalk encroachment, curb or gutter is not reconstructed, repaired or freed from nuisance within the period of time permitted by the notice to the owner of the abutting property, the city manager shall cause the work to be done by contract, as provided in Section 721-69, or by city forces, or both, and the entire cost shall be charged against such property.
