§ 407-69. Rates To Be Filed With Director.

  • (a)

    Every owner of one or more public vehicles, except a transportation network vehicle, shall file in the office of the director the complete schedule of rates offered and used.

    (b)

    Rate schedules may be changed by the owner. No change in schedule shall become effective until one day after it is filed with the director and until all requirements of Section 407-77 have been complied with. (The requirements of Section 407-77 shall not apply to animal-drawn carriages, tour vehicles, low speed vehicles, transportation network vehicles, and pedicabs.) Not more than one amended schedule shall be filed by an owner in any period of 30 days unless with the consent of the director.

    (c)

    All schedules of rates of fare on file with the director shall be open to public inspection.

    (d)

    No driver or other person in control of a taxicab, limousine, accessible vehicle, pedicab, tour vehicle, or animal-drawn carriage shall make any charge except in accordance with the schedule of rates filed as herein provided.
