§ 1115-01. General.

  • (A)

    The provisions of this Chapter apply to the construction, alteration, repair, use, occupancy and maintenance of adult family homes (4101:2-2-01), detached single, two or three family dwelling houses and one-family townhouses, and their accessory structures.

    (B)

    This Chapter of the Cincinnati Building Code shall include the Residential Code of Ohio for One-, Two-, and Three-Family Dwellings, which is incorporated as if set out at length herein, except for changes, deletions, and substitutions as set forth herein. The Clerk of Council and the director of buildings and inspections shall keep copies available for public inspection.

    (C)

    Dwellings regulated by this Chapter that are greater than three stories in height shall comply with the technical requirements of the Ohio Basic Building Code for R-2 and R-3 uses.

    (D)

    Dwellings regulated by this Chapter shall be classified as R-5 uses including those meeting the technical requirements.
