§ 1101-35. Permits, Requirements For and Posting.
1101-35.1 Issuance of permits: After construction documents have been approved under § 1101-29 CBC, and the fee prescribed elsewhere in this Code has been paid, the director of buildings and inspections shall furnish a permit to the owner or person in control of the building or equipment to which the plans relate.
1101-35.2 Form of permits: The form of the permit shall be as prescribed by the director of buildings and inspections and shall show the serial number of the permit, the address at which the building or equipment under consideration is or is to be located, the name and address of the owner or person in control, the name of the person who issued the permit, and such other information as is necessary to facilitate and insure the proper enforcement of CBC.
1101-35.3 Posting of permits: The permit shall be posted in a conspicuous location outside of the building and in the front part of the premises on which is, or will be, located the building or equipment to which the approved plans relate. The owner or person in control and the contractor shall, so far as possible, preserve and keep said permit posted until the completion of the work to which the approved plan relate. Upon application by the owner or person in control, the director of buildings and inspections shall issue a duplicate permit to replace one destroyed by vandals or one which is accidentally destroyed.
