§ 870-03. Certificate of Occupancy Required.

Prior to conveying an interest in residential property within the city of Cincinnati by land installment contract, the vendor shall apply for and obtain a current certificate of occupancy or temporary certificate of occupancy as provided by Cincinnati building code sections 1101-37.3 and 1101-37.5. Vendors in possession of a certificate of occupancy issued for the property within 180 days prior to the date of execution of the land installment contract are exempt from this requirement.
