§ 850-1-P3. Public Vehicle.

"Public Vehicle" means a vehicle by which individual service for compensation in the transportation of persons on the public streets or highways is furnished or offered to be furnished including taxicabs, limousines, handicapped livery vehicles and animal-drawn carriages.
