§ 845-59. Sales Limited.

  • Inside the Findlay Market House no person shall offer, sell or expose for sale any articles, goods, or merchandise other than: foodstuffs; items used to prepare, serve or transport foodstuffs; promotional items advertising the licensee's business or the city market; or such other items authorized by the market manager under this section or in accordance with the market rules and regulations. In all city markets not inside the Findlay Market House, no person shall offer, sell or expose for sale any articles, goods or merchandise except: foodstuffs; horticultural items; or, other items that have been specifically authorized by the market manager. Such other items that may be authorized by the market manager may include, but not be limited to, arts and crafts items and prepared foodstuffs. The market manager may make provision in the rules and regulations for specific classes of goods which may be offered for sale and for how market spaces for the sale of such classes of goods shall be prioritized in terms of their location and potential value and allotted to applicants who wish to license the use of those spaces. The market manager may in the terms of a written agreement for use of market space provide limitations of the classes of goods that may be offered for sale by a licensee.
