§ 825-1. Application for License.

  • An applicant for a license to operate a circus or similar form of public entertainment shall submit an application in writing to the city manager or person designated by the city manager, stating the dates of the performances, the location of the lot or place where the performances or exhibits are to be presented, and such other pertinent information as shall be required.

    If an applicant for a license seeks to operate a circus or similar form of public entertainment for less than six consecutive days, the applicant shall file the application at least seven days prior to the first scheduled date of the event.

    If an applicant for a license seeks to operate a circus or similar form of public entertainment for more than five consecutive days, the applicant shall file the application at least fourteen days prior to the first scheduled date of the event.
