§ 717-16. Neighborhood Notification.

  • Notwithstanding section 717-15, the Cincinnati Police Department, in accordance with procedures established by the Cincinnati Police Department, shall notify the neighbors of the residence or address of any person who, pursuant to this section 717-2, registers or re-registers with the Cincinnati Police Department CIS and for that person both of the following criteria apply:

    1.

    The person was released from incarceration prior to serving the full term of sentence and continues under state or judicial supervision; and

    2.

    The offense for which the person continues to be under state, federal or judicial supervision is to be under state, federal or judicial supervision is aggravated murder (ORC 2903.01), murder (ORC 2903.02), voluntary manslaughter (ORC 2903.03), rape (ORC 2907.02), sexual battery (ORC 2907.03), gross sexual imposition (ORC 2907.05), kidnapping (ORC 2905.01), or abduction (ORC 2905.02) under the laws of Ohio or is the equivalent offense under the laws of the United States or of the state in which committed.
