§ 603-67. Retail Sale of Meat by Weight.
Meat, poultry, cheese or seafood for retail purposes shall be displayed, advertised, offered for sale, or sold, by weight, except for the following:
(a)
Shellfish in the shell;
(b)
Meat, poultry, cheese or seafood sold for consumption on the premises;
(c)
Meat, poultry, cheese or seafood as one of several elements comprising a ready-to-eat meal sold as a unit for consumption other than on the premises where sold;
(d)
Meat, poultry, cheese or seafood sold as part of a sandwich.
The retail display, advertising, offering for sale, or sale of a combination package shall include the weight and price per pound of each different cut or type of meat, poultry, cheese or seafood constituting the combination package.
For the purposes of this section, combination package shall mean any prepackaged collection of more than one cut or more than one type of meat, poultry, cheese, or seafood, with a net weight of more than three pounds.
