§ 508-37. Parking Permits for Car Sharing.

The city manager or his designee is authorized to issue parking permits to car sharing organizations for the purpose of granting the use of designated on-street parking spaces for car sharing vehicles, and to collect fees for the use of such spaces. For purposes of this section, a car sharing organization shall mean an organization that provides its members with self-service access to reserve, pickup, drive and return vehicles at geographically distributed locations for an hourly rate. Car sharing permits shall be granted in accordance with rules and regulations adopted by the city manager.
