§ 407-85. Records.
The licensee or person in charge of one or more public vehicles shall keep a record of all such public vehicles showing the body number, the city license number, the state license number, and such data as may be necessary to identify the driver of such vehicle or vehicles at any and all times. Such licensee or person in charge shall also keep a record of the time of departure from and arrival at the garage or headquarters of such public vehicle. All public vehicle drivers shall make records, which shall be preserved by the licensee or person in charge, showing the time of beginning and the time of ending of each trip, the first and last stop, and the amount of fare collected. The record shall be subject to inspection at all times by the director and shall not be destroyed for a period of six months.
