§ 407-171. Location of Care Givers, Assistants, and Service Animals.

(a)

On booked services in accessible vehicles, operators must locate care givers, assistants or service animals with the passenger with whom they are travelling.

(b)

In the case of care givers or assistants, this would normally be in an adjoining seat.

(c)

If a passenger is traveling with a service animal, the animal must be able to accompany the passenger at all times and to travel without encroaching onto an access path.
