Rule 8. - Animals.

(a)

Dogs: No person shall take a dog on any outdoor area of the commission unless it is on a leash or is under his control. Further, no person shall take a dog in any building on commission property except for the purpose of involving said dog in an event sponsored by the commission or if the dog is the seeing eye dog of a blind person. For purpose of this section "control" shall mean that the dog is within sight and hearing and will respond instantly to call or order.

(b)

Horses, Ponies: Except by written permission of the director of recreation, no person shall lead, ride, or otherwise cause or permit any horse, pony, mule, burro, or any other animal which would in any way cause damage, to enter onto commission property, except that persons may ride or lead any such animal on paths or trails designated by the commission for such purposes.
