§ 1601-9. Fire Escapes.

Latest version.

All entrances to and exits from fire escapes, and the path of travel along the fire escape, shall be maintained in a serviceable condition and shall be kept free of any obstruction.

No material, object or device shall be placed or stored on any fire escape.

Whoever violates this section is guilty of a first degree misdemeanor.
