§ 1601-37. Failure to Secure Litter in Receptacles so as to Prevent Scattering.

  • No person shall fail to maintain a litter receptacle in such a manner that its contents cannot be carried or deposited by the elements upon any street, sidewalk or other public or private property.

    Whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor. Whoever violates this section three or more times within a one-year period is guilty of a fourth degree misdemeanor.
