§ 1435-09-1-A. Application

  • Applications for Certificates of Appropriateness shall be filed with the Urban Conservator on such forms and upon the payment of such fees as may be prescribed by the Historic Conservation Board from time to time. Upon receipt of an application, the Urban Conservator shall time stamp and date the face of the application. Not later than ten (10) business days after receipt of an application, the Urban Conservator shall notify the applicant by e-mail, if an e-mail address is provided, and if not, by regular mail, of any deficiencies in the application. An application shall be deemed perfected when all information required by the application form has been submitted and all fees are paid in full. The Urban Conservator shall have the right to request additional information from the applicant at any time prior to a hearing before the Historic Conservation Board. The effective date of the application, for all purposes, shall be the date that the application is perfected, and such date shall be clearly noted on the first page of the application. The applicant's address set forth on the application shall be the address used by the City for all purposes herein unless updated in writing to the Urban Conservator by the applicant. If the applicant fails to perfect an application after all applicable notice and cure periods have run, the application shall be deemed rejected.
