Chapter 1235. DETECTORS, EARLY FIRE WARNING SYSTEMS |
§ 1235-17. Fire Department Communications Systems.
A two-way fire department communication system shall be provided and maintained in an operable condition at all times for fire department use in buildings which have floors located more than 75 feet above the lowest level of fire department vehicle access. The fire department communication system shall provide acceptable signal strength as required by the Ohio Fire Code and shall be subject to approval by the fire department. Any new system shall be a bi-directional amplifier (BDA) system.
