§ 1225-5. No Smoking Signs.

  • The fire chief or person designated by the fire chief may order the owner or occupant of any place where the fire chief determines that conditions are such as to make smoking or use of an open flame a hazard or where smoking or the use of an open flame is prohibited to post no smoking signs or give audio and/or visual notification that smoking and use of an open flame is prohibited therein. The content, lettering, size, color and location of the no smoking signs or audio and/or visual notification shall be subject to the approval of the fire chief or person designated by the fire chief.
