§ 1219-9. Combustible Containers.

  • The storage of empty cases, boxes, barrels or other similar combustible containers is prohibited; provided that a manufacturing or other establishment may store sufficient amounts to properly carry on its operations. Such storage shall be orderly and so located as not to obstruct exits from the building. Outside storage piles of packing cases, boxes, barrels or other similar combustible containers shall be not more than 20 feet in height and shall be located at least 50 feet from the nearest building. All such storage shall be compact and orderly.
