§ 1219-27. Spark Arrestors.

Latest version.

An approved spark arrestor shall be provided on all fireplace chimneys utilizing solid fuel and if the roof is of wood shingle construction.

Commercial and industrial type incinerators used for burning of rubbish or other readily combustible solid waste material and flue-fed incinerators shall be provided with approved spark arrestors or other effective means for arresting sparks and fly particles.
