§ 1115-07. Changes to Ohio Residential Code, Appendix A.
The following sections of Appendix A are changed as part of this Chapter of the Cincinnati Building Code.
1115-07.1 Change Section A301.3, Accessory Buildings, to read:
Permits shall be required for all accessory buildings and structures and their building service equipment. Permit issuance and fees therefore shall be in conformance with Chapter 1101 of the Cincinnati Building Code applicable to the types of work involved.
1115-07.2 Change section A503.1, Skirting and Perimeter Enclosures, to read:
Skirting shall be of material suitable for exterior exposure and contact with the ground. Permanent perimeter enclosures shall be constructed of materials as required by this code for regular foundation construction.
Skirting shall be installed in accordance with the skirting manufacturer's installation instructions. Skirting shall be adequately secured to assure stability, to minimize vibration and susceptibility to wind damage, and to compensate for possible frost heave.
