§ 1107-11. Responsibility of Owner or Person in Control.

(a)

The owner and each person in control of a premises, building, or structure wherein an elevator is installed and operated shall be responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of the elevator.

(b)

The owner or person in control shall notify the director of any change in ownership of a premises, building, or structure in which an elevator regulated by this Chapter is located.
