§ 1105-37. Revocation or Suspension of License.
(a)
Any license as journeyman plumber and any permission to work as a registered plumber's apprentice may be revoked or suspended for any of the following causes, to wit:
(1)
Incompetency, careless workmanship or dereliction of duty;
(2)
Misrepresentation in obtaining a license, permit or registration;
(3)
Fraudulent use of license or registration;
(4)
Failure to obey any notice or order of any city department having jurisdiction; or
(5)
Any other failure to comply with the plumbing provisions of the Cincinnati Building Code and Ohio Basic Building Code.
(b)
The registration of any plumbing contractor may be revoked or suspended for any of the causes in division (a) of this section or for any of the following, to wit:
(1)
Failure to make reasonable investigation as to the license or registration in employment of a person to perform plumbing operations in accordance with the provisions of this Chapter;
(2)
Failure to take out a required permit before work is started; or
(3)
Failure to notify the proper city department or division for inspection of water, sewer or plumbing construction requiring inspection.
