§ 1021-21. Complaints, Investigations and Orders.

  • The health commissioner shall investigate complaints and make other investigations related to a facility or public nuisances in the city. The health commissioner may enter orders requiring compliance with the requirements of this chapter. The health commissioner may enter and inspect any property at any reasonable time for the purpose of ascertaining the state of compliance with the requirements of this chapter. If entry or inspection is refused, the city solicitor may apply to an appropriate court for a warrant or other order necessary to achieve the purposes of this chapter. Nothing contained in this chapter shall be construed to allow a search of any premises without a proper warrant where such is required by law.
