§ 895-23. Hearings.

  • Any person denied a permit or who contests a notice of violation may request a hearing before a board comprised of the director of buildings and inspections, the city solicitor, and the city engineer or their designated representatives. The request shall be in writing and filed with the board within ten days of the original denial or notice of violation determination. Notice of the hearing shall be published in the City Bulletin. The hearing shall be open to the public. The hearing may be informal but all testimony shall be sworn. The board shall issue a final determination within ten days of the close of the hearing.
