§ 873-23. Insulation; Cellulose or Wood Fiber.

  • No supplier or manufacturer shall advertise, offer for sale, sell, or cause to be installed in any residential structure, cellulose or wood fiber insulating material which is not, at the time of sale or installation:

    (a)

    Packaged and bearing a label stating that the material has been tested in accordance with and meets the requirements of United States General Services Administration (GSA) specification HH-1-515C;

    (b)

    Non-corrosive to all metals, when tested in accordance with GSA specification HH-1-515C;

    (c)

    Fire resistant and flame retardant, when tested in accordance with GSA specification HH-1-515C.
