§ 823-1. Minimum Ages.

  • No child, male or female, under 16 years of age, shall at any time sell, expose or offer for sale any goods, wares or merchandise of any description whatsoever, upon the streets or in any public or private place within the city, provided, that any child over 10 years of age may apply for a permit and badge as hereinafter provided to exercise the trade of bootblack, or sell, expose or offer for sale any newspaper, magazine, periodical or shopping bag, under the terms and conditions hereinafter provided.
