Chapter 803. SCHEDULE OF MISCELLANEOUS LICENSE FEES |
§ 803-1-B. Ball Grounds at Which Admission Fee is Charged.
Payments of the following annual license fee shall authorize only the conducting of baseball games on the licensed grounds. Other games or exhibitions shall be charged at the same rate as provided in the various chapters of the Cincinnati Municipal Code for the licensing of such games or exhibitions.
For the first 5,000 seats, $525 per year for each 1,000 seating capacity or fraction thereof.
For the second 5,000 seats, $390 per year for each 1,000 seating capacity or fraction thereof.
All over 10,000 seats, $330 per year for each 1,000 seating capacity or fraction thereof; provided, however, that the maximum fee shall not exceed $10,725 per year.
If no license fee is prescribed elsewhere in the code for such other games or exhibitions, the following fees shall be paid by any person, partnership or corporation using such ball grounds:
For the first 5,000 admissions, $16 per day for each 1,000 admissions or fraction thereof.
For the second 5,000 admissions, $12 per day for each 1,000 admissions or fraction thereof.
For all over 10,000 admissions, $10 per day for each 1,000 admissions or fraction thereof; provided, however, that the maximum fee shall not exceed $322.
All such daily license fees shall be paid to the treasurer of the city of Cincinnati within 24 hours after the close of any such exhibition or use. The treasurer of the city of Cincinnati shall have the authority to extend such payment period as to residents of Hamilton County, Ohio, whenever, in his opinion, the payment of the license fees within the payment period would result in undue hardship.
