§ 801-21. Exhibition of License

  • Every person, firm or corporation, licensed to conduct a business at a particular location, shall have the license certificate on display at all times in a conspicuous part of the place of business. The holder of a license certificate shall be required to produce it at any time upon the request of a police officer or other authorized municipal officer. When application is made for a renewal, the expiring or expired certificate shall be exhibited to the city treasurer. Every peddler shall carry the license certificate while engaged in peddling, and upon demand shall exhibit it upon the request of any police officer or other authorized municipal officer.
