Chapter 763. RESIDENCY PROHIBITIONS AGAINST SEXUAL OFFENDERS |
§ 763-1. Legislative Findings.
The Council of the City of Cincinnati hereby determines and declares that it recognizes and finds that sexual offenders who commit sexually oriented offenses or child-victim offenses, as defined in Chapter 2950 of the Ohio Revised Code, "Sex Offenders", pose a risk of engaging in further sexually abusive behavior even after being released from imprisonment, a prison term, or other confinement or detention, and that protection of the members of the public from sexual offenders who commit sexually oriented offenses or child-victim offenses is a paramount governmental interest.
