§ 725-1-U-1. Urban Renewal.

"Urban Renewal" shall mean the redevelopment or the rehabilitation of deteriorated or blighted area or areas, or a combination thereof, by actions including but not limited to the acquisition of real estate (including air rights), and the demolition or removal of buildings, the installation of public improvements, and supporting facilities, and the disposition of such property to public or private agencies for redevelopment or rehabilitation in accordance with an urban renewal plan.
