§ 724-11. Permit Rules, Regulations, Specifications, Charges.

  • Rules and regulations shall be prepared by the director, describing in detail the procedure to be observed in obtaining permits, and precautions to be taken in acting under permits when issued. Specifications shall also be prepared describing the manner in which various types of work shall be done. The rules and regulations shall contain a schedule of inspection fees and charges to be made if city forces are required to perform, correct or complete the work in the event of default or failure of the permittee or his contractor or subcontractor to perform the work to the satisfaction of the director or his designee. The director shall have the authority to change the rules, regulations and specifications, and to revise the schedule of fees and charges whenever the interests of the city require such change or revision.
