§ 724-1. Permit Required To Adjust City-Owned and -Maintained Fixtures on Utility Poles.

  • No person, firm or corporation shall engage in adjusting city-owned and -maintained traffic-control, communications, lighting or other electrical equipment, including poles, wires, fixtures, brackets and/or supports owned and maintained by the city of Cincinnati, whether on city-owned poles or on poles owned by a utility company, without a permit granted by the director of public works or his designee and subject to the conditions stated in this section and in the permit. Where because of an accident, public safety requires immediate action, work may proceed without previous permit; but the permit shall be obtained as soon thereafter as possible.
