§ 720-67. Delinquent Charges.

All charges not paid within 30 days after receipt of billing or under appeal shall be considered delinquent.

All charges in arrears and delinquent hereunder shall (1) be subject to an interest charge at the statutory rate, (2) be subject to a rebilling charge covering administrative costs in accordance with the regulations established under C.M.C. 720-23 and (3) constitute a lien upon the real property affected from the date charges are incurred. Charges which remain unpaid for a period of 60 days may be reported to council for assessment against the real property. In the alternative, council may direct the city solicitor to file suit and collect unpaid charges
