§ 701-99-J. Impoundment Fees.
In addition to any penalty that is provided pursuant to Chapter 955 of the Ohio Revised Code or Chapter 701 of the Cincinnati Municipal Code, when the Cincinnati Police Department has caused a dog to be confiscated due to a violation of the Cincinnati Municipal Code or the Ohio Revised Code, the owner shall reimburse the City for all costs resulting from the impoundment of the dog, including, but not limited to, all costs and fees associated with the dog's impoundment and medical and/or veterinary care. The City shall be paid prior to the release of the dog from the SPCA.
