§ 701-99. Penalties.

  • Whoever violates section 701-23 shall be guilty of a first degree misdemeanor or in violation of a Class E1 Civil Offense. Any dog which attacks a human being or domestic animal may be ordered destroyed when, in the court's judgment or the judgment of the Office of Administrative Hearings, such dog represents a continuing threat of serious harm to human beings or domestic animals.
