§ 607-3. No Smoking in Riverfront Stadium and Other Stadiums.

  • (a)

    No person shall smoke in seating areas, rest rooms or marked concession areas at Riverfront Stadium and other stadiums.

    (b)

    No person, having been notified of the smoking prohibition contained in (a) above, shall fail or refuse to comply with a request as provided in (f) below or order of a law enforcement officer to stop smoking or fail or refuse to go to a designated smoking area.

    (c)

    The City Manager, or the City Manager's designee shall designate smoking areas within Riverfront Stadium or other stadiums to accommodate people who wish to smoke.

    (d)

    The owner or operator of a Stadium shall post no smoking signs as designated by the City Manager or the City Manager's designee.

    (e)

    The event sponsor shall at the beginning of each event announce over a public address system the smoking prohibitions and announce where the designated smoking areas are located.

    (f)

    The event sponsor or the event sponsor's agents or employees, finding a person smoking in a prohibited area, shall notify the person of this law and request the person to stop smoking or direct the person to the designated smoking area.
