§ 603-49. Permit to Remove Dead Animals.

  • All persons engaged in the removal of dead cattle, sheep, goats or swine from or within the city limits, except from the streets and public grounds of the city by contract with the city, shall first obtain a written permit from the board of health to conduct such business. All applications for such permits shall be in writing and shall state the location of the factory or place to which such dead animals are to be taken and the exact disposition to be made of them or their products. All persons engaged in such business shall, at the close of each calendar week, make a report to the board of health upon blanks furnished by the board, which shall state the number and kind of dead animals removed and the disposition made of them.
