§ 603-19. Importing Unwholesome Foods.

No person shall bring into this city, or sell or offer for sale any meat, sausage, poultry, game, fish or oysters that are diseased, adulterated, unsound, unwholesome, or that for any other reason are unfit for human food; and all such articles of food shall be seized and destroyed by the health commissioner or authorized assistant.
