§ 601-21. Sale of Paregoric.

  • No person shall do any of the following:

    (a)

    Sell paregoric without requiring the purchaser thereof to furnish the purchaser's name and address which shall be entered in an appropriate record, together with the date of sale and the amount of paregoric sold. Record of each individual purchase shall be kept for at least two years.

    (b)

    Give a false name and address when purchasing paregoric.

    Whoever violates this section is guilty of illegally selling or purchasing paregoric, a misdemeanor of the first degree.
