§ 513-4. Forfeiture of bond.

Any person posting a cash bond pursuant to §§ 513-3 or 515-9 CMC shall be deemed to have forfeited the cash bond to the City if that person fails to appear for court or hearing upon the designated day or fails to pay the accumulated fines, penalties, costs, impounding fees and storage costs stemming from the traffic citations or parking infractions. Notice of the right of the City to forfeit the cash bond shall either be given in person to the party posting the bond or mailed to their last known address.
