§ 508-6. No-Standing, No-Stopping and No-Parking Zones.

  • Where "No Standing" or "No Stopping" signs are erected, no person shall stop, stand or park any vehicle in violation thereof, except when necessary to avoid conflict with other traffic or in compliance with the directions of a police officer or traffic-control device.

    Where "No Parking" signs are erected, the same provisions as above shall be in force, except that the sign shall not apply to the temporary stopping of a vehicle for the purpose of and while actually engaged in loading or unloading of passengers or while actually engaged in loading or unloading merchandise.
