§ 508-22. Unlawful Parking of Taxicabs.

  • No operator of a taxicab shall park the taxicab on any of the hereinafter designated highways at any place other than a taxicab stand:

    Any highway within the area bounded on the north by the north property line of Twelfth Street, on the east by the east property line of Broadway, on the south by the south property line of Third Street, and on the west by the west property line of Central Avenue.

    Taxicab drivers shall be permitted to park taxicabs at parking meters in the above designated area for personal and professional purposes only and provided that the taxicab driver pays the fee associated with the parking meter, the taxicab is left unattended at the meter, and the period of parking at the meter does not exceed fifteen (15) minutes.
