§ 503-6. Peddler Vehicle Lighting.

  • Motor vehicles operated within the city of Cincinnati by or at the direction of any person licensed as a peddler pursuant to Chapter 839 and stopped upon any highway or street for the purpose of demonstrating, selling or offering for sale or barter any goods, wares, merchandise, food, confection or drink shall be equipped with and display one or more flashing amber lights clearly visible for a distance of 500 feet to the front and rear of said vehicle.

    Whoever violates any provision of this section shall be fined not more than $101 or have his or her peddler's license and eligibility therefor revoked for a maximum period of one year from the date of conviction, or both. If the operator of said vehicle is a person other than the licensed peddler conducting the demonstrations, sales, barters or offers thereof both persons may be convicted of simultaneous violations.
