§ 502-3. Parking Prohibitions During Street Sweeping Operations.
The director of the department of public services or a person designated by the director is hereby authorized to temporarily prohibit parking on a street or on a particular side or portion of a street, when it is necessary to do so because of street sweeping operations.
When the director or his designee has determined that such a prohibition is necessary, he shall erect and maintain appropriate signs plainly indicating the affected side or portion of the street, as well as the effective dates and times that the prohibition is in effect. No person shall park or stop a vehicle in violation of a sign so erected.
The director of the department of public services or his designee shall have the authority to act as a parking enforcement officer for purposes of Chapter 515 of the Cincinnati Municipal Code for a violation of this section. Any citation issued per this section shall be in compliance with Section 515-10.
